Re-installing ClearDB Documenter to a new PC
Follow this guide to move the installation of ClearDB Documenter from one PC to another with all its settings and files.

Log in to your Conquest account and download the latest build of ClearDB Documenter from the Updates page.

Install ClearDB Documenter on the new PC, copy the license key to the application home folder, and run ClearDB Documenter. The key should be applied automatically. Otherwise, activate the key manually.

Copy the %AppData%\ClearDB folder to the new PC.

Copy Preferences:
  1. In the old installation of ClearDB Documenter, go to Options > Preferences and click the Save button to save the settings to a file.
  2. Copy this file to the new PC.
  3. In the new installation of ClearDB Documenter, go to Options > Preferences, click the Load button and then select the file with the settings.

Copy Code Analyzer Options:
  1. In the old installation of ClearDB Documenter, go to Options > Code Analyzer Options and click the Save As button to save the settings to a file.
  2. Copy this file to the new PC.
  3. In the new installation of ClearDB Documenter, go to Options > Code Analyzer Options, click the Load button and then select the file with the settings.

Copy the %UserProfile%\MyDocuments\ClearDB folder with generated documents to the new PC.

Start using ClearDB Documenter. All your settings, projects, and database connections should be available in the new installation.
