The upgraded PL/SQL IDE is now available as a subscription license at a flat monthly fee of $10. The subscription is renewed automatically and has no limitation on functionality, database objects, or lines of code.
In terms of functional changes, we added technical debt calculation to the code metrics module, helping estimate the cost of bug fixing. For ease of migration, existing database connections can now be exported to an XML-file to be later distributed in the team or imported to ClearDB Documenter and ClearSQL.
We also added the ability to remove Oracle system objects from Call Trees to help users focus on the functional source code. The usability and UI of the code autocompletion feature has been improved, too.
